When did silence become the rule for abortions — again?

You might not have even noticed, how few women are openly discussing their personal experience with abortion any more. Our freedom here in Canada and the protections of Roe v. Wade in the south might have made us complacent.

As U.S. Justice Kennedy prepares to retire, abortion rights are very much back in the news in the United States. The lack of access to reproductive care hits lower-income people and women of colours hardest. It’s time we stood up, took notice, and raised our voices again.
